Today we lost our dear friend, Jeremy Hardy.
Jeremy, your family and friends, audiences and campaigners alike, have lost you way too soon.
You were always there for us when we asked. And Tipping Point was just one of many – you supported Stop the War, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Artists for Palestine UK, ICAHD UK, Medical Aid for Palestine and others. You spoke out with courage and humour; you brought your profile to tough issues where others would have shied away.
We are indebted.
Jeremy, it was an honour to have worked with you on several projects – all beginning back in 2010 with Leila Sansour’s Open Bethlehem and continuing through Bethlehem Unwrapped, Make Apartheid History, then our glorious Mandela South Bank day and lastly, our Attlee performance ‘ In Clem’s Own Words’.
And we send our deepest sympathy to his wife Katie, and to all Jeremy’s family.
Deborah & the whole extended Tipping Point family.
